Jeff Beck Esquire Relic

When Jeff Beck started his short tenure in The Yardbirds in 1965, he didn’t actually have a guitar to call his own and had to loan the band’s red Tele for early gigs.

Beck played various Telecasters from that point onwards but was put off by the rosewood fingerboards featured on Fender’s new models: “I wanted a maple neck. And the only one I ever saw belonged to John Walker from the Walker Brothers… He wanted £75 – only about £10 cheaper than a brand new one. But he wouldn’t shift.”

Beck bought the guitar anyway – actually a 1954 Esquire rather than a Tele – and set about modifying his new purchase by adding a black scratchplate and replacing the rusted steel saddles with brass ones from another guitar. The Esquire’s peculiar, Strat-like contours sanded into the front and back were actually there before Jeff acquired it.

Fender Jeff Beck Tele

When Fender Jeff Beck Tele started his short tenure in The Yardbirds in 1965, he didn’t actually have a guitar to call his own and had to loan the band’s red Tele for early gigs.

And the only one I ever saw belonged to John Walker from the Walker Brothers… He wanted £75 – only about £10 cheaper than a brand new one. But he wouldn’t shift.”

The Esquire’s peculiar, Strat-like contours sanded into the front and back were actually there before Jeff acquired it.

Fender offered a limited edition, 150-guitar run of the legendary Esquire in 2006, with every one of its numerous modifications and battle scars recreated. The guitar itself currently resides in pickup designer Seymour Duncan’s private collection.

Bob Marley Les Paul Wiki

This pre-owned Gibson Custom Shop Limited Edition ’57 Les Paul is in excellent condition, with just a minute ding on the belly. It looks great with an ebony finish, nickel hardware, and a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece to top it all off. What’s more than the looks of the guitar, the mahogany body has been chambered to reduce the weight down to a comfortable 8 lbs, 1 oz. The ’57 Custom is loaded with two Burstbucker humbuckers to pump out a loud and clear Rock and Roll tone, which when paired with the Bigsby allows you to throw some subtle (or not so subtle) warbles to your licks and chords. Other features include an ebony fretboard, Kluson waffle-back tuners, and a period-correct rounded ’50s neck profile.

Bob Marley Les Paul Replica

Here we have a 2007 Gibson Les Paul Custom ’57 Reissue in a VOS Faded Cherry finish. Features include a bound mahogany body and neck, a bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays, Gibson Burstbuckers, black plastic parts and gold-plated hardware. This comes with an original hardshell case, the certificate of authenticity, and paperwork.

Bob Marley Epiphone Les Paul Review

Body:  almost no signs of wear except for a couple over super light scratches on the back of the body around the center

Neck and Headstock:  virtually no signs of wear at all, however there appear to be some light spots on the back of the neck towards the neck joint which are probably manufacturer’s flaws since they are underneath the lacquer coat (pictured below)

Action and Playability:  the action is nice and low; the neck is straight and the truss rod functions flawlessly

Hardware:  looks fantastic with virtually no signs of wear at all

Electronics:  all functions flawlessly

Auction Includes:  electric guitar, truss rod adjustment tool, Gibson warranty booklet, Gibson tag, and Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case

Bob Marley Les Paul Left Handed

Auction is for a 1998 Gibson Ace Frehley Signature Les Paul electric guitar. It’s in good condition. The frets look great and it plays beautifully! Electronics are working great as well. Includes original case with blue interior and Ace signature on the blanket. It has decent amount of buckle rash on the back. There’s also some wear on the top that appears to be from the player wearing a bracelet. It’s just below the stop tailpiece. From a distance it’s not that noticeable. Only when you’re getting up close. I’ve tried to highlight the wear, but haven’t picked out every scratch or ding. Rather, I’ve shown some different pictures so you can have a general idea of the wear. It’s PERFECT for a player! The combination lock on the case has been damaged and may need replacing. All other latches are working great. Sorry, no case candy; just the guitar and case. Other than some minor wear, it’s an awesome guitar! If you have any questions, feel free to email us.
